App & platform optimisations
A new sign up process has been introduced in order to ensure that users agree to the platform terms before sharing their personal information. The new sign-up steps are as follows:
- 1.Agree to terms
- 2.Create your account
- 3.Verify email address
- 4.Complete your profile
Agree to terms before signing up
Direct links to the app - and to specific sections of the app - will be sent via email & push notifications to users, i.e.
- when a new stream or episode is published
- when a new story is published or updated
- when a pathway is published or updated
- when a push notification is received, the user will be directed straight to the section mentioned
If a platform app has Pathways enabled, app guides will now include two variants: one for pathways, and one for the app.

An interface copy adjustment was made; when a user selects the settings option to manage library items, a “no items” message comes up if no stories or streams have been interacted with yet.
